Tonight the Final Four become the Final Three. I’m committed to the belief that it will be a battle of the David’s to be the last man standing, but strange things happen from time to time on AI. How in the world do people like Sinjaya or others like him outlast real competitors? How do people like Chris Daughtry or Tamyra Gray get knocked out before the championship? It’s really bizarre sometimes that way things play out on AI, but I guess that’s why we watch. This year, there is no way that Jason Castro should still be in the ring. He should have hit the mat face first a long time ago and have been dragged out. But he’s still standing while other more deserving contenders are already done.

There is no doubt, no margin for error, no way no how that Castro shouldn’t be the one heading home tonight. Anything else would be a travesty. I will comment as we go, but I can only hope that we’re not sitting slack-jawed later tonight.

5 Minutes to kick-off and I’m getting nervous about the whole Castro thing. Last week was bad enough for me having to say goodbye to Brooke (Who I am absolutely convinced can become a successful artist), but if Castro stays another week, I don’t even know if I can watch the last two shows. I just read some other blog that said they voted for him 30 times last night. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? THE GUY WREAKED! HE WAS HORRIFIC! The author of that blog should have their fingers snapped and their phone smashed. Now I have to sweat out the next hour or so.

JC… There is justice… even if it’s a bit delayed.  While they were standing there, it really sounded like he couldn’t care less.  i wonder if he got to the point where he realized he was in over his head.  It’s funny the guy from Maroon Five said get ready to work.  I’m not sure that’s who JC is… I think he’s more of the beach luau guy that Paula pegged weeks ago.  If so, this was probably what he wanted…. and me too.  The last three all have something to offer.  Good bye JC… you won’t be missed (except by the gals who voted more than 30+ times for you)

My friend and fellow church planter, Paul Harshbarger, hooked us up with passes at WeaverRidge Golf Course here in Peoria. Weaver is rated in the top 100 public courses in the U.S. (#61) Public courses are courses that any body can play (as long as you have enough $$$) verses private courses which are only playable if you have an in. (I’ve also had the chance to play #1, 5, 8, 15, 24, 51, 65, 76, & 87…. which means I have a long way to go if anyone’s offering)
