Bold Faith…. and Bolder Opposition

On our first Sunday of 2010, we were challenged to begin the year with the same thought the Bible begins with….
In the beginning…. GOD!
If we can take that mindset and carry it into our days, our weeks, and our months… then we have the basis for a great year. Ultimately, it all begins with God. We simply have to make the choice to live that truth in our own lives.
Brit Hume of FOX News recently gave us a wonderful glimpse of what it means to put your faith in God first as he encouraged Tiger Woods to receive the forgiveness of Jesus Christ during a live broadcast:
Wouldn’t it be great if we could all have the courage of our convictions to speak the name of Christ regardless of the fallout. We can…… if we remember “In the beginning, God!”. But make no mistake about it, if we are willing to put God first in our lives and speak his name without fear, then there will be opposition… and often it will swift and loud.
The opposition that is sure to follow is enough for most Christians to keep quiet about their faith… but let’s let 2010 be the year that we remember, that we believe, that we live out “In the beginning…. GOD!”

I would love to answer your question. Could you give me a little more context about what you mean?
