Hi! I’m Mark Doebler, aka, Coach Mark. My current and greatest passion is as the spiritual leader and coach of a wonderful church plant in Peoria, Illinois, otherwise known as Second Chance Church. I do not see my role there in the traditional sense of “Pastor”, but more as a spiritual coach, someone who is encouraging, pushing, pulling, leading, and coaching people to achieve their best….not only in a spiritual sense, but in their whole lives. When Jesus said he came to “give us life…” it wasn’t just about what comes later. It was about NOW! And now includes a whole lot more than just Sunday morning “church”.

I have other things that I love as well. I’m crazy about college football in general, and the University of South Carolina specifically. The Gamecocks are my annual test of faith. And though I am still patiently (really, impatiently) waiting, I am still confident that someday my faith will be rewarded.

I’m a Huge fan of golf…especially when I get to play…

and….I love to travel and experience new things.

I want to live large….not in terms of what I possess…but in the richness of my faith, my family, my friends, and my experiences.
